I was born and raised in Turlock, California. In 2004, I earned my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego. In 2008, I earned my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and my Administrative Services Credential through Point Loma Nazarene University, Bakersfield.
In the fall of 2004, I moved to Bakersfield and married my college sweetheart. He is also a teacher and the varsity baseball coach at Ridgeview High School. We have two sons. Our Greyson is an 8th grader and Colton is a 5th grader.
I began teaching for the Norris School District in 2004. I previously taught at William Bimat Elementary before moving to Veterans Elementary to help open the school in 2007. I am thrilled to call Veterans my home. My heart beats true for the red, white and blue. I truly love being an Eagle!
