I have been a teacher for more than 30 years (yikes!), and I couldn't imagine doing any other job! During my career, I have taught every grade from Kindy to 5th...but the majority of my time has been spent in 2nd grade. Second grade is a magical year where academic abilities blossom, independence grows, and confidence soars. I love second grade!
