ABOUT MRS. TISINGER

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development from California State University Bakersfield.

I also hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Administrative Services Credential through the state of California.

I taught 2nd grade for 4 years at Stockdale Christian School here in Bakersfield before moving to the Norris School District. I started here at Veterans as a Kindergarten teacher and spent 7 wonderful years with our AMAZING Kindergarten team. After that, I made the jump to 6th Grade to work with the "big kids" on campus. I spent 3 wonderful years with our AMAZING 6th grade team. When the opportunity came my way to teach TK, I jumped at the chance! This will be my 16th year teaching and I am just as pumped up and excited as I was my first year as a teacher!

My goal is to help students be all that they can be! I hope to help your child become a productive, independent learner this school year!

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband Nick and my 2 year old son Ronin. I also love to travel, eat good food, pamper myself, catch up on my shows, and snuggle my Boxer dog named Gabby.
