I was born and raised in Bakersfield.  I received my bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and my teaching credential from Point Loma Nazarene University, Bakersfield.  This will be my thirteenth year teaching and my eleventh year at Veterans.  For the past 10 years I taught 4th grade. I previously taught 2nd and 3rd grades in the Panama Buena Vista School District.  I am excited to be back in 3rd grade, and I am proud to be a Veterans Eagle!
