Welcome to Kindergarten in Room K-3 at Veterans Elementary School! I am Mrs. White and I am excited to have the privilege to spend my eighth year as a teacher, with you. Before I became a teacher, I was a stay at home mom to my three children, a classroom volunteer, and a PTC board member here at Veterans Elementary. My children are 19, 17, and 14 years old and we all love to cuddle our pups - Rugby, Elvis, and Toby.

 

Students will be learning so much this year! In Kindergarten, we learn through play, manipulatives, hands-on activities, and a lot of practice. It will be a fun year of hard work, changes, and growth, but the activities we have the opportunity to participate in build character and create fond memories, while setting students up for future success.

 

The most important thing you should know about Room K-3 and me is that I am so grateful to have all of you on my team! Although students will spend many hours throughout the year with me, I believe if students, families, and teachers work together, we can help every child achieve their kindergarten goals!
