About Me

I am a Bakersfield native and graduated from Centennial High School.
I have a strong connection to the field of education. My family owns and runs Little Country Christian Preschool where I started working in the office at 15 years old and teaching at 18 years old. My husband is also in education as an Administrator of a local high school district.
I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University Bakersfield, and my multiple subject teaching credential from the University of LaVerne. I hold a Masters of Education with a concentration in STEAM education.
I worked for Delano Union School District for six years where I taught Third Grade and First Grade and was a Literacy Resource Teacher for two years which included teaching Intervention Reading groups and coaching teachers. This is my 24th year teaching.

My family and I love to spend time together shopping, reading and going to the beach! We live in the Norris School District.
